Grounded

If I just sit myself

here

And breathe

Will I be grounded?

If I just still here

Not directing

But Observing

Will my thoughts go away?

If I don’t speak

And only exist in

The sound of My tears

Will I be forever silenced?

I need to still be here

To ground my feet and

My head to this wondrous earth

To give her a little chance

Each day

to breathe her life force

Into my lungs and heart

Once a day

To hear and think

Of myself

For myself

Once more
